Safaris are a big part of what makes a stay at Sediba special. Whether you’re heading out on a classic game drive, walking through the bush on foot, or joining a conservation team for something hands-on—you’ll experience the wild in a way that’s personal and memorable.
Morning and afternoon game drives are included in every stay. You’ll head out into the reserve with one of our experienced guides, who’ll help you spot wildlife and share interesting facts about everything from big game to birds, tracks, and plants. No two drives are ever the same, and every day brings something new.
Walking safaris offer a closer look at the bush. You’ll track rhinos on foot and stop to notice the smaller details—like insects, plants, and signs of animals that you might miss from a vehicle. These walks must be booked in advance and cost R650 per person.
This is for guests who want to get involved in real conservation work. Your booking directly funds an urgent project—like treating an injured animal or placing a research collar. You’ll join the conservation team. The cost is R30 000 per experience and can be shared by up to 9 guests. Your activity funds the whole project, often including the use of a helicopter. It’s a rare opportunity to be part of something meaningful. Advance planning is needed so we can match you to the right initiative.
