YOUR PRIVATE SAFARI
Unrivalled wildlife encounters.
South Africa’s Big 5 (Lion, Leopard, Elephant, African Buffalo and Rhino) can all be found within Welgevonden Game Reserve. Over 50 different mammal species call the reserve home, including giraffe, kudu, zebra, and other exotic creatures native to Southern Africa such as the rare brown hyena, aardwolf and aardvark. For the keen ornithologists, the reserve is home to over 300 bird species.
We offer daily morning and evening game drives in open 4x4s, led by our charismatic rangers who provide fascinating insights into the complex ecosystems of the South African bush. The number of vehicles at each siting are restricted to ensure animals face minimal disruption.
