The story of the Well.
During the days of old, a Well was located at the centre of the communal gathering space. From its depths, the community drew the essential sustenance of life.
In the modern age, the symbol of the Well has come to represent rejuvenation and health, a break from the toils of daily life.
Sediba, the Tswana word for Well, embodies this essence providing a refuge from the exertion of everyday life and reconnecting us to our natural roots.
‘MOTJHEKA SEDIBA HA A SE NWE’
(‘he who digs a well does not drink from it’)

We had the best time at Sediba - our guide, Jacob was amazing, he was respectful of the animals and quietly took us through the reserve, Jonas impressed us with his knowledge of the birds found in the reserve. The food was wonderful, the rooms beautiful and the folks catering for our every need were just the best.
The overall beauty of the area is breathtaking! The rooms are clean, huge, spacious and fit for a King/Queen. The views from the rooms are just amazing. The management and all the staff are so polite, friendly and accommodating. The food was tremendous. It's an experience to cherish. It's a hidden gem and I will most definitely go back. Sediba has stolen my heart!
Sediba went out of their way to make our wedding day and our big family gathering incredibly special. The management and staff members are phenomenal, the food is amazing and the lodge is a must see and a experience of a lifetime. Sediba is a custodian of what African spirit is all about. Our only regret is not staying longer.
We will be back!
Magnificent views, wildlife, hospitality - Sediba has it all!
The lodges, the privacy and tranquility, the views and general surroundings are second to none. This was our second visit to Sediba, our previous visit being more than ten years ago and it is as beautiful as it was then. All the staff are friendly, caring and attentive and they all go to great lengths to ensure that you have a memorable stay. If you love the mountains and the bush and you want to see an abundance of wildlife, go to Sediba, you will not be disappointed!
